Flexible adaptive welding

At Fabtech Canada, Motoman will demonstrate an HP20D robot equipped with Servo-Robot’s PowerTrak seam tracking system tracking a contoured part in real time.

An MH1600/MH500 tilt/rotate positioner will position the part to keep it in the flat position. MotoEye LT software will find and dynamically track contoured joints and adapt welding conditions. Motoman will also introduce the MotoEye-SF, a high-speed Ethernet interface developed for Servo-Robot’s SF-D laser camera series. The data from the camera can be used to adapt the robot weld path and parameters for parts with varying location and fit-up.www.motoman.com
