Five-station ironworker

50-ton ironworker offers fabricators numerous features and flexibility

Scotchman Industries has developed a five-station 50-ton ironworker, the 50514-CM.

The five stations on the 50514-CM consist of a 50-ton punch station with 6 in. throat depth that can punch a 13/16 in. hole in ¾ in. material; a 4 in. x 4 in. x 3/8 in. angle shear; a 14 in. flat bar shear capable of shearing ¾ in. x 4 in., ½ in. x 8 in., 3/8 in. x 10 in. and ¼ in. x 14 in.; a rectangle notcher, a new built-in feature, capable of notching 2-1/2 in. x 3 in. x 5/16 in. and 2-1/2 in. x 2-3/4 in. x 3/8 in. The fifth station, located on the tool table workstation next to the angle shear, allows an optional pipe notcher to be mounted without removing the angle shear.

Like all Scotchman machines, the 50514-CM is made in America and has many standard features such as adjustable stoke control, a keyed punch ram for safe and positive punch alignment, an electric box supplied with emergency palm button, lock-out tag-out accommodations, and all guards necessary to comply with ANSI B 11-5 standards. Numerous optional tools include a 12 in. press brake, pipe notcher, tube shear, rod shear and picket tool.
